Carrot cake smoothie

Creamy, subtly spiced and naturally sweet. This smoothie tastes like a real treat. I hope you love it. 

CARROT CAKE SMOOTHIE 

Ingredients 

1 large carrot

1/4 cup of oats

1 cup plant based milk

1 tbsp nut butter- I used macadamia (leave it out for nut free option or use a seed butter)

1 tsp vanilla extract 

1 tsp Spices of choice: Use individually or a combination of - Cinnamon, Ginger, nutmeg, Mixed spice and/ or Pumpkin spice to taste.

Optional: 1 or 2 ice cubes 

Method

Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until beautifully smooth. 

Note: If your blender isn’t particularly powerful it may be helpful to grate the carrot first
